Mifflin County project lands $129K state agriculture grant
From staff reports REEDSVILLE — A Mifflin County business will receive nearly $130,000 as part of a $9.7 million statewide investment aimed at bringing new technology and innovation to Pennsylvania agriculture. Metzler Forest Products in Mifflin County was awarded $129,800 through Pennsylvania’s Agricultural Innovation Grant Program for a system designed to convert forest waste into thermal energy and carbon products.
