Penny bazaar among activities on tap

BURNHAM -- It only takes one winner --one winning ticket from a sheet of 100 for $1. At least that's true at the 51st Annual Burnham Fire Co.'s Penny Bazaar.
The Penny Bazaar is set for Friday and Saturday at the fire company from 5 to 9 p.m., at the firehouse, located at 205 N. Beech St., Burnham. Come out for two days of fun. There will be raffles, rip tickets and lots and lots of prizes to be won.
16th Annual YMCA Benefit Dinner is today
The Juniata Valley YMCA's 16th annual Benefit Dinner and Auction is set for today at the Reedsville Fire Co., 16 Firehouse Blvd., Reedsville. Doors open at 5 p.m. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. Enjoy a buffet with roast turkey, chicken breast, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, mac and cheese, corn, green bean casserole and dinner roll. There will also be 50/50 drawings, rip tickets, silent auction and bucket drawings. The cost is $15 for youth and $25 for adults.
