LEWISTOWN — The Mifflin County Coroner’s Office has identified the man who died during a barricade standoff Saturday on Charles Street in Lewistown. Mifflin County Coroner Andrea L. Alcalde identified the man as Shawn Dearment, 52, of Lewistown. Dearment died from a gunshot wound, and his manner of death was ruled suicide, according to a release issued Wednesday by the coroner’s office. LEWISTOWN — Mifflin County’s confirmed measles cases have nearly tripled, rising from six to 17 as Pennsylvania’s statewide total climbed to 307 cases and 53 hospitalizations, according to the latest Department of Health data.
