Mifflin County Regional Police report March activity
LEWISTOWN — The Mifflin County Regional Police Department handled 492 incident reports in March 2026, including 19 theft or fraud cases, three assaults and 31 motor vehicle crashes.
Officers issued 105 traffic citations, 14 non-traffic citations and 22 warnings during the month. Police also made four DUI arrests.
The department serves Burnham Borough and Brown, Derry and Union townships.
Penn State Extension offers virtual cooking class on Mediterranean eating
UNIVERSITY PARK — Penn State Extension invites you to take a tasty trip to the Mediterranean as part of its “Let’s Cook at Home” virtual cooking class series.
“Let’s Cook at Home: Mediterranean” will take place on April 30 from 5 to 6 p.m. online. The Mediterranean way of eating is considered one of the healthiest diets worldwide and focuses on plant-rich cuisine, with less focus on meats and sweets.
