Macri sidelined by compression fractures from accident
MECHANICSBURG — Following Friday night’s accident at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, fan favorite Anthony Macri finds himself sidelined in the pits for some time.
According to the driver’s social media, he was transported to the hospital after the crash for evaluation. Macri has been diagnosed with compression fractures of T4 and T5.
At this time, there is no confirmed timetable for Macri’s return to competition, as he will undergo further medical evaluation and follow-up care. Macri and his entire team would like to extend their sincere appreciation for the support, messages, thoughts and prayers received.
