Professional Women to meet March 17
MIFFLINTOWN — The Juniata County Business and Professional Women will hold its March dinner meeting on Tuesday, March 17, at the Walker Grange, 6611 William Penn Highway. Social time begins at 6 p.m., with dinner and the business meeting starting at 6:30 p.m. Dinner cost is $13.
The March program centers on supporting local youth through nutrition. Members and guests will assemble Weekend Wellness food kits, which provide school‒aged children with meals for the weekend. These kits will be distributed through the Juniata County Food Pantry.
Glenda Fultz, director of the Juniata County Food Pantry, will attend to share updates on current initiatives and upcoming projects that benefit families throughout the county.
Guests are welcome to attend but must make a reservation.
Membership in Juniata County Business and Professional Women is not limited to Juniata County residents –women from Mifflin and Perry counties are encouraged to attend, connect, and see if the club is a good fit for them.
