LEWISTOWN — A 20-year-old woman was jailed this week after allegedly selling methamphetamine to a confidential informant, according to state police.
Kayla Nicole Miller, of Lewistown, was arraigned Tuesday before Craig Weston on three counts each of felony manufacture with intent to deliver a controlled substance and felony use of a communication facility, along with misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, Pennsylvania State Police conducted an undercover investigation in which three controlled purchases of methamphetamine were arranged through a confidential informant. Authorities said the transactions were coordinated using Snapchat.
Laboratory testing at the Harrisburg Regional Laboratory determined Miller allegedly sold a total of 7.82 grams of methamphetamine during the controlled buys in Lewistown Borough.
Miller is being held at the Mifflin County Correctional Facility in lieu of $100,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. April 1.
