Calendar
The Sentinel offers nonprofit and other community organizations an opportunity to promote upcoming events for free in the community calendar for three days before the event. Events requiring reservations may be promoted for up to two weeks before the reservation deadline.
Events that require a purchase from a for-profit business, even if a donation is made to the organization, are not eligible for the calendar.
Please be brief and include only basic details. If possible, provide a phone number or email address to be published with contact information.

•Coffee with friends — 9 a.m. to noon at Lack-Tuscarora EMS, 9320 Route 75 South, East Waterford.
•Fish Sandwich Friday — 3 to 5:30 p.m., Sacred Heart School cafeteria, Lewistown. Sandwich only: $5, sandwich with mac and cheese $8.
•Lenten fish dinner — 4 to 7 p.m., St. Jude Catholic Church, 3918 William Penn Hwy., Mifflintown. Adults: $15, children 6 to 12: $6, 5 and under: free. Sponsored by St. Jude’s Knights of Columbus.
•Seafood-meatloaf dinner — 4 to 7 p.m., Decatur Fire Co. cookhouse, Rte. 522 N., Alfarata.

• Fly-in, Drive-in, Walk-in breakfast — 8 to 10:30 a.m., EAA Club House, Mifflin County Airport Hanger 4. “World Famous Omelet” plus side dishes. Sponsored by Experimental Aircraft Association, Chapter 518.
•LGHS Class of 1965 luncheon meeting — 11 a.m., Sal-Lee’s Restaurant. Classmates, spouses and guests are welcome.
•Coffee house music — 6:30 p.m., Ellen Chapel Church. The Shade Mountain Bluegrass Band will perform. Brian Worley at 7:45 p.m. Everyone is invited. Coffee, iced tea and snacks available. A freewill offering will be collected for the entertainers.
Sunday
•Mifflin County Historical Society program — 2 p.m., St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, Lewistown. “The Life and Times of Dorcas Buchanan” by Cate Barron.
• Bingo — Doors open at 4 p.m. Bingo starts at 5 p.m., Lewistown Elks Lodge, 229 W. 3rd St., Lewistown. Rip tickets will be sold. Short order menu available for purchase.
• Captain Jack / Mount Union Area High School get-together — 6 p.m. at Downtown OIP.
Monday
• Job Club — 10 a.m. to noon, Mifflin County CareerLink, MCIDC Plaza Building 58. Attendees can search for jobs, tailor resumes, apply for jobs and learn how to get jobs.
