Hershey appointed as bank director

MIFFLINTOWN — Bradley D. Hershey has been appointed to the board of directors of Pennian Bank and First Community Financial Corp., the bank’s holding company. He was sworn in at the board’s January 2026 meeting.

Hershey is a partner and store manager at Hoober Inc., a 12-location dealership selling Case IH, Kubota, JCB and other agricultural equipment. He is one of four members of Hoober’s third-generation leadership team, continuing the legacy of the company founded in 1941 by his grandfather, C.B. Hoober.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Delaware Valley University. Hershey is active in numerous organizations, including the North American Equipment Dealers Association; Cedar Grove Brethren in Christ Church, where he serves as chair of the deacon board; Juniata Business and Industry; the Central Juniata 4‒H Club, where he is a co-leader; the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau; the Juniata County Republican Committee; the Juniata County Extension Council; the Juniata Ag Advisory Board; and Delaware Valley University’s President’s Advisory Council.

Outside of work, Hershey enjoys spending time with his family and four grandchildren. He and his wife, Sandy, live in Mifflintown.
