Elmora man sustains serious injuries in crash
McVEYTOWN — A three-vehicle crash on Feb. 5 in Oliver Township resulted in serious injuries for an Elmora man. According to State Police Lewistown, Adam M. Cattoi, 36, was the operator of a Nissan NV1500 on Route 522 South at the intersection of Little Brick Road in McVeytown at about 12:30 p.m. Thursday.
A Chevrolet Sonic driven by Claudia Beasom, 23, of McVeytown, stopped to make a left hand turn onto Little Brick Road. A Ram 2500 driven by Russell Renninger, 69, of McVeytown stopped behind Beasom’s vehicle. Cattoi’s Nissan failed to slow for traffic, striking the rear of Renninger’s vehicle and pushing it into the rear of Beasom’s Sonic.
Cattoi sustained serious injuries and was flown to Hershey Medical Center. Renninger and Beasom were transported to Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
