Citation filed following altercation

MIFFLINTOWN — On Sunday, Jan. 18, Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to an altercation around 10 a.m. on William Penn Highway, Fermanagh Township.

The report states that a 32-year-old Port Royal man stated that a 72-year-old Mifflintown man pushed him. A non-traffic citation was filed through Magisterial District Judge Tracy Powell.

Officers respond to reported theft

MIFFLIN — According to a report from the Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown, the Mifflin Fire Department was the recent victim of a theft. The report states that on Wednesday, Dec. 10, around 3 p.m. officers responded to 408 Juniata St. to investigate.

Honey Grove man faces disorderly conduct charge

HONEY GROVE — On Thursday, Jan. 15, officers arrested 61-year-old Troy Brown, of Honey Grove, for disorderly conduct.

According to a police report, Brown was going through his neighbors’ mailboxes around 3 p.m. on Route 35 south, Tuscarora Township for no legitimate purpose.

Charges were filed against Brown through Magisterial District Judge Jacqueline Leister’s office.
