Calendar

The Sentinel offers nonprofit and other community organizations an opportunity to promote upcoming events for free in the community calendar for three days before the event. Events requiring reservations may be promoted for up to two weeks before the reservation deadline.

Events that require a purchase from a for-profit business, even if a donation is made to the organization, are not eligible for the calendar.

Please be brief and include only basic details. If possible, provide a phone number or email address to be published with contact information.

• Souper Tuesday — 6 p.m., Hameau Farm, 6364 Rte. 655, Belleville. Three types of soup and sides. Cost is by donation. Proceeds benefit Kishacoquillas Valley Historical Society.

• CLHS Class of 1966 luncheon — 11 a.m. at Vince’s Pizza in Burnham.

• LHS Class of 1959 luncheon — noon, Vince’s Pizza and Family Restaurant.

• Lewistown Post Office retirees luncheon — noon, Downtown OIP, Lewistown.

• Mission quilts — 1 p.m., Derry Township Senior Citizen Center, 15 Mill St., Yeagertown. Sewing skills are not necessary. Helpers needed.
