LEWISTOWN – At the rate he’s going, the seasons must run together for Mifflin County High School Director of Bands Brandon Kahley.

A little more than a month after guiding the Marching Huskies to a Tournament of Bands 2025 Group 3A Atlantic Coast Championship, Kahley is preparing the high school concert band for its winter debut.

The Mifflin County Junior High School and Mifflin County High School Band Concert is scheduled for 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, at Mifflin County High School in Lewistown

“I am very much looking forward to the upcoming holiday concerts to see all the students’ hard work on the music,” Kahley said.

School band holiday concerts are a cherished and time-honored tradition that brings together students, faculty and community members to celebrate the festive season. These concerts offer a platform for students to showcase their musical talents and provide a joyful atmosphere for the audience.

“I am looking forward to showing the students’ ability and growth over the months leading up to the holiday concert,” Kahley added.

Plus, there’s a benefit concert for the Lewistown Community Band added to the holiday mix.
