Police investigate concession stand burglary
MIFFLINTOWN — Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown are investigating a report of stolen goods from the Mifflintown youth baseball concession stand.
The report states that the burglary took place between Friday, Sept. 12 at 4:30 p.m. and Tuesday, Sept. 30 around 12:30 a.m.
According to the report, a black and white 2002 Chrysler Liberty was involved in removing assorted candy and chips as well as $303 from the cash box.
Man injured in DUI crash
McCLURE — On Thursday Oct. 30 around 7 p.m. Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown officers responded to the scene of a vehicle crash on Whiskey Road, Decatur township.
The report states that Kevin Ulsh, 56, of McClure, was traveling north when the 2010 Chrysler Sebring he was driving went off the right side of the roadway, striking a tree.
The report said that Ulsh then left the scene, returning shortly after.
The vehicle sustained disabling damage, and Ulsh sustained injuries as a result.
Ulsh related that he was going 40 mph and not wearing his seatbelt.
The officer suspected he was under the influence of alcohol, and he was transported to Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital for a blood draw. Charges are pending.
