Mount Union man arraigned on flight charges

MOUNT UNION — On Wednesday, at around 5:30 p.m. officers from Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown attempted to arrest a male on Blue River Lane to serve multiple arrest warrants.

According to the report, once on scene, the man, 37-year-old Casey Huffman, of Mount Union, attempted to flee the residence on foot, but officers were able to apprehend Huffman and transported him to the Mifflin County Correctional Facility where he was arraigned on additional charges of flight to avoid apprehension and resisting arrest.
