Lewistown man jailed for assault
after allegedly punching teen in face
LEWISTOWN — Christian J. Kurtz, 22, of Lewistown, was arrested for an alleged domestic assault and lodged in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility in Lewistown after punching a 17-year-old female several times at 3:54 a.m. on Aug. 29, according to a release issued by the Lewistown Police Department on Friday. Police officers noticed swelling and bruising around the juvenile’s eye from being hit, the report said, and witnesses reported seeing Kurtz punch the juvenile several times in the face.
Milroy woman lodged in jail,
cited for public intoxication
LEWISTOWN — A 41-year-old Lewistown woman was lodged in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility in Lewistown and cited for public intoxication after an incident at the Puff-N-Snuff in Lewistown at 7:46 p.m. on Aug. 29, according to a release issued by the Lewistown Police Department on Friday. Officers received a complaint from a customer stating that an employee there was under the influence, the report said. Officers contacted Amber Lee Pruitt, who police said seemed to be under the influence of something and was considered to be a danger to herself and others.
Lewistown man charged with criminal contempt after violating PFA
LEWISTOWN — Lewistown Police Department officers responded to the first block of Ridge Road for an alleged Protection from Abuse violation at 10:22 p.m. on Aug. 29, according to a release issued on Friday. The report said Travis D. Durham, 46, of Lewistown, was prohibited from having any contact with the protected person. The reporting party said Durham was at the residence pounding on the back door trying to enter the residence, the report said, and officers were present when he walked past. Officers went eventually able to catch Durham and determined that he was in violation of the PFA, the report said. He was taken into custody, transported to the Mifflin County Correctional Facility in Lewistown and subsequently charged with indirect criminal contempt, the report said.
Lewistown woman charged with criminal trespass after allegedly stealing dog
LEWISTOWN — A 41-year-old Lewistown woman was charged with criminal trespass and lodged in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility in Lewistown at 6:11 a.m. on Aug. 31 after stealing a dog from a local apartment, according to a release issued by the Lewistown Police Department on Friday. Officers received a complaint that Ashley Allegretto allegedly entered an apartment belonging to an ex-paramour and stole a dog, the report said. Allegretto’s actions were captured on a doorbell camera and she has never lived at this location and the caller stated she did not have permission to enter the property, the report said. Officers eventually obtained a warrant arrested Allegretto on the 100 block of Valley Street on Sept. 4.
Lewistown man arrested on warrant, female lodged in jail for parole violations
LEWISTOWN — The Lewistown Police Department assisted the Mifflin County Regional Police Department on serving an arrest warrant at 103 N. Grand St. in Lewistown at 12:30 p.m. on Sept. 3, according to a release issued by the Lewistown Police Department on Friday. MCRPD held an arrest warrant for Devin P. Stultz, 27, of Lewistown, the report said, and officers took Stultz. During this time, officers observed drug paraphernalia, including hypodermic needles, digital scales, and marijuana smoking devices, were located inside the residence and associated with another resident, Donea E. Moore, 29, of Lewistown, the report said. Moore was taken into custody and lodged in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility in Lewistown on probation violations.
Area man jailed for warrant, charged with trespass and paraphernalia possession
LEWISTOWN — Dane H. Hightower, 42, address unknown, was lodged in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility in Lewistown for a warrant and charged with criminal trespass and possession of drug paraphernalia after admitting to living in a detached garage in the 500 block of East Walnut Street in Lewistown without permission, according to a release issued by the Lewistown Police Department on Friday. Officers spoke with Hightower at12:48 p.m. on Sept. 3, the report said, after a real estate agent reported that someone was living on the property that has been uninhabited for some time when showing the property to potential buyers.
Lewistown man arrested for warrants relating to counterfeit currency, drug DUI
LEWISTOWN — Lewistown Police Department officers received information that Michael M. Collins, 35, of Lewistown, was going to a residence on the 100 block of Valley Street in Lewistown at 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 4, according to a release issued on Friday. Officers conducted surveillance in the area and observed Collins, who had several arrest warrants relating to passing counterfeit currency and a drug DUI, the report said, and was taken into custody.
Lewistown man arrested for public drunkenness, parole violation
LEWISTOWN — Odell Brown Jr., 62, of Lewistown, was arrested by the Lewistown Police Department after officers found him to be highly intoxicated and he was taken into custody for public drunkenness at 8:24 p.m. on Sept. 4, according to a release issued on Friday. Officers were patrolling West Third Street and North Grand Street when they were alerted to an intoxicated male at the intersection, the report said. The male was shouting for officers to perform fellatio on him, the report said. Brown Jr. had been arrested several times previously and he is currently under the supervision of Mifflin County Probation, the report said. A detainer was lodged on Brown by probation for violating conditions of his supervision, the report said, and he was lodged in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility in Lewistown.
