‘As we end the Dog Days of summer, what was your biggest accomplishment?’
Avery Amspacker,
of Lewistown
“Getting involved more in the community. Doing coffee houses with the special needs community and National Day of Prayer. I also had the opportunity to enjoy nature throughout the area.”
Kevin Cunningham,
of Mifflintown
“Aside from keeping up with yardwork on hot days, my most valued accomplishments include spending time with family and being able to share the love of music with others.”
Forest Fisher,
of Reedsville
“Being a small part of the many loyal, hard-working volunteers who packed up the Mifflin County Historical Society library and acquisitions for storage during renovations at the Historic Courthouse.”
Dan Kanagy,
of McAlisterville
“If becoming empty nesters is an accomplishment, we did that. Our oldest, Daniel, is moving to N.C. to make baseball a career in the training world. Our youngest, Aaron, is an accounting major at Shippensburg and got married in June.”
Kristen Shoemaker,
of Lewistown
“Crossing something off my bucket list: Vacationing on a tropical island. We went to Saint Thomas (in the United States Virgin Islands), and it was absolutely beautiful!”
