Reedsville man charged with

trespassing at police barracks

MIFFLINTOWN — Michael Pegher, 46, of Reedsville, was arrested by Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown troopers at 4:11 p.m. on Jan. 29 for walking through a posted no trespass area at the police barracks, located at 140 Stoney Creek Drive, Mifflintown, according to a public information release report issued on Saturday. Pegher was charged with defiant trespassing, the report said.

Port Matilda man cited

for disorderly conduct

PORT MATILDA — A 64-year-old Port Matilda man was cited by Pennsylvania State Police at Rockview troopers for reporting fraudulent claims while being heavily intoxicated at 10:28 p.m. on Jan. 30, , according to a public information release report issued on Friday. The report said Keith Kelley had made claims to police multiple times in recent months, prompting them to be dispatched to the scene.

Local man jailed for public drunkenness

LEWISTOWN — Lewistown Police Department officers observed a suspicious individual lurking around parked vehicles on the 700 block of West Fourth Street in Lewistown at 12:01 a.m. on Jan. 24, according to a release issued on Friday. Officers contacted the subject, who was identified as Richard Lee Aumiller, 43, with no address, police said. Aumiller appeared highly impaired and admitted to consuming impairing medication, police said. Aumiller was lodged in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility in Lewistown for public drunkenness, police said. Mifflin County Probation lodged a detainer on Aumiller for violating terms of his supervision, police said. At 1:33 a.m., officers responded to the jail as Aumiller was showing signs of an overdose, police said, and transported him to the hospital for medical treatment.

Same local man then arrested

on outstanding warrant

LEWISTOWN — Lewistown Police Department officers responded to the office of Mifflin County Probation at 12:24 p.m. on Jan. 24 where Richard Lee Aumiller, 43, with no address, was served with an arrest warrant relating to an incident that occurred on Aug. 26, 2024, according to a release issued on Friday. On the previous date, Aumiller delivered fentanyl and methamphetamine to a confidential informant, the report said. Aumiller was charged with two felony counts of delivery of a controlled substance and one felony count of criminal use of a communication device, police said. Aumiller was arraigned and bail was set at $50,000, police said.

McClure man charged with

criminal mischief, disorderly conduct

LEWISTOWN — Lewistown Police Department officers responded to the 600 block of Valley Street in Lewistown after a report of alleged criminal mischief at 10:57 a.m. on Jan. 24, according to a release issued on Friday. The driver of a vehicle on Valley Street and had to stop their vehicle because Austin Bowsman, 20, of McClure, was walking in the driving portion of the roadway, police said. Bowsman approached the stopped vehicle and struck the side mirror on the vehicle causing damage, police said. The estimate for the damage was $525.02, police said, who located Bowsman nearby. Police said Bowsman stated that he struck the vehicle because he was just terminated from his job. Police said Bowsman was charged with criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.

Lewistown man cited for harassment on Bratton Avenue by police

LEWISTOWN — Pedro Luis Flores, 45, of Lewistown, was cited for harassment by Lewistown Police Department officers after an incident with a female on the 200 block of Bratton Avenue in Lewistown at 12:58 p.m. on Jan. 24, according to a release issued on Friday. Police said a female resident was at her home while subjects who were hired by her landlord were there making repairs. Police said Flores sent the other workers away after making repairs and Flores remained in the residence. Police said Flores reached over and rubbed the female’s leg multiple times despite the female telling him to stop. Police said Flores was allegedly making statements that he could help her pay for her rent in exchange for sexual services.

Granville man, Lewistown woman

arrested for outstanding warrants

LEWISTOWN — Lewistown Police Department officers conducted at traffic stop on the 100 block of South Walnut Street in Lewistown for a lighting violation at 12:14 a.m. on Jan. 25, according to a release issued on Friday. Driver Jacob Auker, 50, of Granville, exited the vehicle and told officers that he had a warrant for his arrest, police said. Auker had two warrants out of Mifflin County and one warrant from Juniata County, police said. Auker’s license was suspended relating to a DUI, police said, and he had seven prior convictions for similar offenses and a criminal complaint was filed for driving while DUI suspended, police said. Passenger Amy McCoy, 51, of Lewistown, also had two active warrants, police said, and McCoy was also taken into custody. Both subjects were lodged in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility in Lewistown.

Milroy arrested for active warrant, charged with drug paraphernalia possession

LEWISTOWN — Tristian Alexander Barner, 22, of Milroy, was arrested by Lewistown Police Department officers at 2:03 a.m. on Jan. 25 on the 400 block of East Walnut Street in Lewistown for an active warrant with commitment stemming from a summary traffic offense, according to a release issued on Friday. Police said Barner was stopped and placed under arrest without incident. During a search incident to arrest, Barner was found to be in possession of a digital scale that contained marijuana residue, police said. Barner was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.
