REEDSVILLE — Pennsylvania State Police-Lewistown responded to the report of two burglaries at about 12:40 a.m. May 21.
According to the report, surveillance footage determined that an unknown man shattered the glass of the front door at the Milroy Uni-Mart, 3 Center Street, Armagh Township, entered the building and removed the cash register and lottery box.

Nicholson arrested for theft by deception
LEWISTOWN — Lewistown Police Department responded to the 600 block of Valley Street, Lewistown, at about 1:45 p.m. May 17 for the report of theft from a church.
According to the report, Peggy Nicholson, 60, of Lewistown, had been acting as a property manager on behalf of an individual who was previously incarcerated for shooting a tenant at the Valley Street location.
The report states that Nicholson contacted the tenants stating she would be removing property from a storage location and that they needed to pay her $600 for storage before she would allow them to access their property.
The report states that the tenants produced a lease that showed storage in a basement was part of their lease. Police said Nicholson locked the basement and drove screws into a door, preventing the tenants from accessing their property.
After calling police, the tenants were able to force their way into the basement and discovered more than $2,300 worth of property missing including items used for church services, an extension ladder and restaurant equipment.
The report states that Nicholson admitted that she did not have a copy of the lease and she prevented the tenants from accessing their storage area.
Nicholson was arrested for theft by unlawful taking and theft by deception.
