UGI customers temporarily without natural gas
YEAGERTOWN — About 150 UGI Utilities customers are without natural gas in their homes due to a leak in the Yeagertown area.
Joe Swope, media relations manager for UGI, said the leak was caused by a third-party contractor and repairs are expected to be made in all affected homes between late afternoon and early evening.
Swope advised anyone who detects a gas odor to call 911 or UGI at (800) 276-2722 and leave the area.
