Lewistown Borough Police Department
Public Intoxication – 1:00 p.m. – Jan. 21 – Lewistown Borough Police report investigating an event of public intoxication on Logan Street.
Lloyd Bishop, 54, of Lewistown, was arrested for public intoxication.
Police also report discovering several hundred dollars of tickets from the American Legion, which had been stolen by Lloyd.
Bishop was charged with public intoxication, theft and receiving stolen property. He was placed in the Mifflin County Correctional facility.
Domestic assault – 12:15 a.m. – Jan. 18 – Lewistown Police report investigating a fight at the Keg Bar in Lewistown.
According to police, three women and two men were fighting at the bar.
Robin Cramer, 45, of Middleburg, allegedly assaulted Scott Wagner and a female at the bar. After the assault, Wagner kicked and broke the tail light on Cramer’s vehicle.
James Landis was arrested for public intoxication.
Cramer was arrested for domestic assault.
Wagner was arrested on an outstanding contempt warrant and is charged with the damages to Cramer’s vehicle.
The three suspects were transported to the Mifflin County Correctional Facility to await further legal action.
Also assisting at the scene were Pennsylvania State Police and Granville Police.
Theft – 3:00 a.m. – Jan. 18 – Lewistown Borough Police report investigating a retail theft incident.
Police say Heather Wagner, 28, of Lewistown, was arrested after she stole items from a Juniata street convenience store.
She was placed in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility.
Assault – 12:30 p.m. – Jan. 18 – Lewistown Borough Police report investigating an incident of domestic assault that occurred on South Spruce Street.
Police say Joshua Fowle, 31, of York, was arrested on Jan. 19 on assault charges and was placed in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility.
Middleburg Police Department
Hit and run – 10 p.m., Jan. 23 – Noon, Jan. 24 – Police are investigating a hit and run crash that occurred on U.S. 522 at Allis Chalmers Lane in McClure, according to a report from the Middleburg Police Department.
Marlene Hassinger, of McClure, reported that someone hit her mailbox and two street signs owned by the McClure Borough. A investigation revealed that the suspect vehicle was traveling north on U.S. 522 when it lost control, crossed the southbound lane of travel and hit the mailbox and street signs.
The suspect vehicle is believed to be a Subaru Outback. The vehicle should have moderate front end damage and a broken passenger side headlamp.

Pennsylvania State Police Newport
Theft by deception – 9 a.m. – Jan. 21 – Police investigated an incident of theft by deception, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Newport.
A 42-year-old female, of Millerstown, reported that she responded to a Craigslist posting for a 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche. The suspect then made contact with the female and gave instruction on how to pay for the vehicle via a Pay Pal account. The sale was then to be finalized by Ebay Motors and delivered to the victim’s home on Jan. 23. The shipment never arrived and the funds were paid out from the Pay Pal account.

Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown
- Crash – 3:50 p.m. – Jan. 23 – A two-vehicle crash occurred on Electric Avenue at it’s intersection with Main Street in Armagh Township, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.
Sherwood E. Heckman, 72, of Millhem, was stopped at a stop sign at Electric Avenue in a 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier. David R. Custer, 27, of Reedsville, was driving south on North Main Street in a 2014 Hyundai Sonata, when his vehicle slid into Heckman’s vehicle, causing it to slide off the road.
Heckman and Custer were both wearing their seat belts and were not injured in the crash.
Custer’s vehicle sustained minor front end damage and Heckman’s vehicle sustained major left side, rear damage in the area of the rear wheel. Heckman’s vehicle was towed from the scene.
Custer was cited for the crash.
- Crash – 7:35 a.m. – Jan. 24 – A one-vehicle crash occurred on U.S. 522 at its intersection with Dormantown Road in Decatur Township, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.
Travis M. Smith, 19, of Middleburg, was trying to navigate a slight left hand curve in the road. Smith lost control of his 1998 Ford Ranger and left the right side of the road. When the vehicle left the road it made impact with an embankment.
Smith was wearing a seat belt and was not injured in the crash.
The vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
- Simple assault – 8:20 p.m. – Jan. 22 – Police investigated an incident of simple assault, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.
During an argument, Pamela Erb, 27, of Decatur Township, broke a large television, a grandmother clock, a microwave and several other items at a residence located at 7359 U.S. 522 North, Decatur Township. During the incident, Erb entered into a fight with several people at the residence. A 16-year-old male sustained several cuts from broken glass when Erb pushed the clock over, which hit him.
Erb was arraigned in front of Magisterial District Judge Tammy L. Hunter’s office and lodged in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility with bail set at $5,000.
- Public drunkenness – 9:50 a.m. – Jan. 24 – Police found Michael Rios, of Milroy, to be under the influence of alcohol at 19 Mechanic Street, Armagh Township, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.
Rios was stumbling around and had slurred speech. When an officer approached Rios, he noticed Rios smelled of alcohol.
Rios was arrested for public drunkenness and lodged in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility.
Lewistown Borough Police Department
- Hit and Run – 2:30 p.m. – Jan. 17 – Lewistown Borough Police report investigating a hit and run in Mifflin County.
Police say Kurtis Walker, 32, of Derry Township, hit a parked vehicle in a business parking lot and fled the scene, hitting a concrete barrier an hour later on Mill Road.
Walker was arrested and charged with DUI and hit and run.
- Theft – Jan. 17 – Lewistown Borough Police report investigating an incident of retail theft.
Police say Jeromy Freed, 35, of Granville, was taking items from a Juniata street convenience store.
Freed was charged with retail theft.

Assault – 1:15 a.m. – Jan. 21 – Pennsylvania State Police report investigating an incident of assault in Decatur Township.
Police say an unnamed individual, 34, of McClure, struck another unnamed individual, 54, of Lewistown, repeated times in the head and face.
The victim was taken to Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital for injuries.
The investigation continues.
Contraband-Jan. 14-15 – Pennsylvania State Police report discovering prescription narcotics during a cell search at the Mifflin County Correctional Facility.
Police say Gary Allen, of McVeytown, was charged.
Crash – 5:57 a.m. – Jan. 14 – Pennsylvania State Police report investigating a crash in Walker Township.
Police say Tori Warfel, 18, of Port Royal, was traveling on state Route 75 when, for unknown reasons, she traveled off the road and hit a guard rail.
Warfel was issued a traffic citation.
Crash – 6:25 p.m. – Jan 16 – Pennsylvania State Police report investigating a crash in Fermanagh Township.
According to police, David Seaholtz, 59, of Milroy, struck a couch that had become unsecured from an unknown vehicle as he was traveling west on state Route 322.
The investigation continues.
Crash – 9:29 p.m. – Jan. 20 – Pennsylvania State Police report investigating a crash in Fayette Township.
Police say Donna Troshak, 63, of McAlisterville, was traveling on Mountain Road when she lost control of her vehicle and hit a tree.
Troshak was not injured, and was charged with a traffic violation.
Crash -5:58 p.m. – Jan. 18 – Pennsylvania State Police report investigating a crash in Armagh Township.
According to police, Leila Nenadigh Gonzales, 21, of Philadelphia, was traveling too fast for icy conditions on state Route 322.
Nenadigh Gonzales lost control of her vehicle and hit the guardrail.
No injuries were sustained.
Nenadigh Gonzales was charged with a traffic violation.
Milroy EMS and Mifflin County PennDOT assisted at the scene.
Crash – 6:38 a.m. – Jan. 10 – Pennsylvania State Police report investigating a crash in Monroe Township.
Police say Adam Graybill, 22, of Richfield, lost control of his vehicle and hit a mailbox and two utility poles.
There were no injuries.
Crash – 10:50 a.m. – Jan. 21 – Pennsylvania State Police report investigating a crash that occurred in Wayne Township.
According to police, William Stringer, 18, of McVeytown, was driving too fast for conditions on state Route 522, and rolled his car.
Stringer was given a traffic violation and his car was towed.
There were no injuries.
Public Drunkenness – 2:37 a.m. – Jan. 24 – Pennsylvania State Police report investigating an incident of public drunkenness in Walker Township.
Police say Wilson Nataren, 33, of Mifflintown, was discovered in a Weis Markets parking lot after hours, and was under the influence of alcohol.
Nataren was charged with public drunkenness.
Criminal Mischief – 8 p.m. – 9 a.m. – Jan. 23-24 – Pennsylvania State Police report investigating an incident of criminal mischief in Delaware Township.
Police say someone shot a hole through a resident’s garage door and into a generator. A rifle bullet was discovered.

Crash – 7:22 p.m. – Jan. 19 – Pennsylvania State Police report investigating a crash in Mifflin County.
Police say a Subaru turned in front of a fire truck and impacted it.
Both vehicles suffered minor front end damage.
The operator of the Subaru was transported to Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital by Newton Hamilton EMS for a blood test due to a suspicion of DUI.
Also assisting at the scene was Newton Hamilton Fire Company.
Charges are pending results of the blood test.
Crash – 6:00 p.m. – Jan. 19 – Pennsylvania State Police report investigating a crash in Wayne Township.
Police say Jessie Laughlin-Henry, 18, of Lewistown, was riding his bicycle after dark without any lights or reflectors. Robert Fortney Jr., 59, of Newton Hamilton, was traveling down the road and was unable to avoid Laughlin-Henry after he saw him.
Laughlin-Henry was thrown onto the hood of the vehicle, and smashed the windshield of Fortney Jr.’s car.
His bicycle suffered major damage.
Laughlin-Henry was transported to Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital via Newton Hamilton EMS for minor injuries.
Also assisting at the scene was Newton Hamilton Fire Company.
Laughlin-Henry will be cited for not having lights or reflectors on his bicycle.
Middleburg Police Department
Hit and Run – 4:45 p.m. – Jan. 16 – Middleburg Borough Police report investigating a hit and run incident that occurred in McClure.
According to police, Kevin Yakamook, 23, of McClure, had his blue Mazda parked in the McClure OIP parking lot at 4:45 p.m. When he returned to his vehicle at midnight, Yakamook found his vehicle had been struck, and there was damage to the driver’s side of the vehicle.
Investigation is ongoing.

DUI – 2:38 a.m. – Jan. 1 – Middleburg Borough Police report investigating a DUI which occurred in Middleburg.
Police say Dylon Riden, 22, of Beavertown, was believed to be intoxicated after being pulled over at a traffic stop.
Blood tests reveal Riden to have had a .098 BAC.
Riden was charged with DUI and several traffic violations.
Domestic Problems – 8:15 p.m. – Jan. 14 – Middleburg Borough Police report investigating a domestic incident in Beavertown.
Police say they were dispatched to Market Street to a dispute involving a father and daughter over an iPad.
Investigation is ongoing.

Crash – 5:50 p.m. – Jan. 18 – Pennsylvania State Police report investigating a crash in Walker Township.
Police say Leaann Cleck, 32, of Mifflintown, was traveling with a 4-year-old passenger.
Cleck proceeded through an intersection when it was not her turn to go, and hit the rear of a vehicle operated by Michael McCurdy, 42, of Thompsontown; who was traveling with Sherry McCurdy, 50, of Thompsontown.
Sherry McCurdy sustained injuries of unreported severity.
Assisting at the scene were Central Juniata EMS and Mifflintown Fire Company.
Cleck was cited for a traffic violation.
Burglary/Theft – 9 a.m. to 9:20 p.m. – Jan. 18 – Pennsylvania State Police report investigating an incident of theft in McAlisterville.
Police say Steven Strawser, 26, of McAlisterville, reported a broken window at his apartment, as well as items stolen from his front porch.

Crash – 9:04 p.m. – Jan. 18 – Pennsylvania State Police report investigating a crash in Bratton Township.
Police say Ronald Black, 48, of Lewistown, lost control of his vehicle.
Black struck an embankment and overturned, finally coming to rest in the opposite lane of traffic.
Black was not injured.
Assisting at the scene was McVeytown Fire Company and EMS.
Black was cited in the incident.
Crash – 5:50 p.m. – Jan. 12 – Pennsylvania State Police report investigating a crash in Walker Township.
Police say Stefan Hybicki, 50, of Hoffman Estates, Ill., was operating a commercial vehicle and traveling west on U.S. 322.
Hybicki moved into the left lane of traffic during a right-hand curve, hitting the back passenger side of a vehicle operated by Jennifer Haas, 37, of Mifflintown, who was in the left lane.
Haas lost control of her vehicle and hit an embankment.
There were no injuries.
Hybicki was charged with a traffic violation.
Haas’ vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
Crash – 6:19 a.m. – Jan. 16 – Pennsylvania State Police report investigating a crash in Wayne Township.
According to police, Brock Knable, 19, of Newton Hamilton, failed to yield to oncoming traffic at an intersection.
Knable made a left-hand turn in front of an oncoming vehicle operated by Annie Grice, 70, of Mount Union, which caused Grice to strike Knable’s front passenger area.
There were no injuries.
Both vehicles were towed.
Knable will be charged with a traffic violation.

Disorderly Conduct – 11:55 a.m. – Jan. 15 – Mount Union Police report investigating a fight in Mount Union.
According to police, they discovered two Mount Union males, ages 14 and 15, fighting on North Industrial Drive.
Both males received citations for disorderly conduct.

Retail theft- 7:20 p.m. – 7:20 p.m. – Dakota Stever, 19, of Mount Union was charged with retail theft, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Huntingdon.
Stever took two boxes of cat food outside of Sandy Ridge Market without paying.
Charges were filed through Magisterial District Judge Mary G. Jamison’s office.
Burglary – 1 p.m., Jan. 15 – 12:20 a.m., Jan. 16 – Unknown actor(s) stole items from 20 S. Jefferson St., Apartment 3G, Mount Union, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Huntingdon.
A 32-inch flat screen television and $90 were stolen from the apartment.

Lewistown Police Department
Warrant service – Jan. 12 – Police assisted in locating two wanted people on contempt warrants at a residence located on Logan Street, Lewistown, according to a report from the Lewistown Police Department.
Officers subsequently located the two wanted people who were hiding in the residence. They were identified as Paula Kirchoff, 29, of Lewistown, and Charles Rosati, 31, of Lewistown. Mitchell Jones, 22, of McClure, and Selena Hoar, 38, of Lewistown, obstructed officers during the investigation and were charged with obstruction of justice.
Traffic stop – 2:30 p.m. – Jan. 12 – Police stopped a vehicle for a motor vehicle violation and located a man wanted on a contempt warrant out of the county, according to a report from the Lewistown Police Department.
The man was identified as Brandon Knepp, 26, of Lewistown, and he was placed in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility.
Pennsylvania State Police Newport
Crash- 11:55 a.m. – Jan. 13 – A two vehicle crash occurred on U.S 22 in Howe Township, Perry County, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Newport.
Kyle L. Sweger, 28, of Millerstown, was driving a 2000 Chevrolet Impala in the right lane of west U.S 322, behind a 2015 Freightliner Cascadia driven by Robert J.Fitzner, 54, of Orlando, Fla. Sweger’s vehicle hit the rear of Fitzner’s vehicle. Sweger and Fitzner slowed down and pulled off to the shoulder of the road. Sweger’s vehicle sustained disabling damage to its front end.
Fitzner’s vehicle suffered no damage. Sweger was wearing a seat belt and was not injured in the crash. Fitzner, along with his passenger, Elizabeth B. Morin, 41, of Orlando, Fla., were wearing seat belts and were not injured in the crash. Sweger was charged for the crash.

Armagh Township Police Department
DUI – 1:12 a.m. – Jan. 14 – Armagh Township Police report investigating a possible DUI.
According to police, Hobart Baker Jr., Thompsontown, was stopped on East Colonial Drive for a traffic violation.
He was believed to be under the influence of alcohol.
Charges are pending based on blood results.
Granville Township Police Department
DUI – Jan. 4 – Granville Township Police report an arrest for a DUI.
Police say Corinna Sue Barger failed sobriety tests after a traffic stop on Juniata Street.
Lab results reported Barger’s blood alcohol content to be .28 percent.
Charges will be filed.
Theft – 2:55 a.m. – Jan. 11 – Granville Township Police report investigating a theft in Lewistown.
Police say a vehicle parked in the Bierhaus parking lot had a Glock model 26 handgun, an iPhone and two iPods stolen from it.
Using surveillance video footage, police identified Kyle Raymond Lefevre, 24, of Lewistown, as the culprit.
He was arrested at his residence, and the stolen items were recovered.
Lefevre was charged with theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, and theft from a motor vehicle.
He was remanded to the Mifflin County Correctional Facility.
Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown
Crash – 11:19 a.m. – Jan. 12 – Pennsylvania State Police report investigating a crash in Mifflin County.
According to police, Mariah Spigelmyer, 21, McClure, slid on the slush on Back Maitland Road. She lost control of the vehicle, finally hitting a utility pole.
There were no injuries and no charges.
Criminal Mischief – Jan. 10-11 – Pennsylvania State Police report investigating criminal mischief in Mifflin County.
Police say there were damages done to mailboxes on Back Maitland Road and Ferguson Valley Road in Decatur and Oliver Townships.
The investigation is ongoing.

According to police, mail has been stolen from the mailbox of Dorothy Mae Livingston of Mountain Road.

Alarm – 4:45 a.m. – Jan. 10 – Mount Union Police report investigating an activated commercial burglary alarm at a West Shirley Street business.
Upon investigation, the alarm was determined to be false.
Suspicious Activity – 7:01 p.m. – Jan. 9 – Mount Union Police report investigating suspicious activity on Shaver Street.
There was a disorderly group.
Assault – 8:30 p.m. – Jan. 4 – Mount Union Police report investigating harassment on West Shirley Street.
Police say the parties were warned to cease contact.
Domestic – 3:45 a.m. – Jan. 3 – Mount Union Police report investigating a report of domestic altercation on South Shaver Street.
No arrests were made.
Check Welfare – 2:30 a.m. – Jan. 3 – Mount Union Police report investigating the welfare of an individual at a North Jefferson Street business.
It was determined that the individual was homeless.
Police say they helped him find a place to stay for the night with assistance from Mount Union Ministerium.
Assault – 5:10 p.m. – Jan. 2 – Mount Union Police report investigating harassment on Liverpool Street.
Police say they warned both parties to cease contact with one another.

Crash – 11:07 a.m. – Jan. 7 – Pennsylvania State Police report investigating a crash that occurred in Fayette Township.
According to police, Lindsey Leitzel, 25, of McAlisterville, was operating her vehicle on a snow-covered right-hand curve on state Route 35. Leitzel lost control of her Chevrolet Cavalier, traveled from the roadway and hit a utility pole.
Leitzel was taken to Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital by Fayette Township EMS for injuries sustained in the crash.
She was cited for violation of driving a vehicle at a safe speed.
Crash – 4:50 p.m. – Jan. 9 – Pennsylvania State Police report investigating a crash that occurred in Decatur Township.
According to police, John Kirk II, 29, of Lewistown, lost control of his Mercury Cougar while traveling on state Route 522.
The vehicle went off the road and rolled two times, coming to rest on its wheels.
Kirk was transported to Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital for minor injuries.
He was given a traffic citation.
Also assisting the scene was Decatur Fire Department.
DUI – 11:48 p.m. – Jan. 9 – Pennsylvania State Police report investigating a DUI that happened in Milford Township.
According to police, a 39-year old female, of Mifflin, was stopped on state Route 35 for a traffic violation. She was driving while her driver’s license was DUI suspended, and was suspected to be DUI at the time.
Police are waiting for the results of a blood test to file charges.
Disorderly Conduct – 3:05 a.m. – Jan. 10 – Pennsylvania State Police report disorderly conduct occurring on Main Street in Port Royal Borough.
According to police, Brian Zook, 41, of Port Royal, was yelling loudly and making unreasonable noise that annoyed and alarmed nearby residents.
Zook was given a citation.
Crash – 4:15 p.m. – Jan. 10 -Pennsylvania State Police report investigating a crash in Decatur Township.
According to police, Ronald Henry, 76, of Lewistown, pulled out in front of Michael Kurtz, 46, of McClure, on Route 522.
McClure’s Buick Century sustained disabling damage after the impact with Henry’s Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Neither driver was injured.
Henry is being cited for the incident.
Criminal Trespass – 1:56 p.m. – Jan 10 – Pennsylvania State Police report investigating an event of criminal trespass in Spruce Hill Township.
Police say Daniel Shoop, 44, of Harrisburg, was on the property of Daniel Brackbill, 46, of Port Royal, despite the presence of posted signs signifying private property.
Shoop will receive a non-traffic citation.
DUI – 1:56 a.m. – Jan. 11 – Pennsylvania State Police report investigating a DUI on Water Street in Lewistown Borough.
Police say Samuel Plummer, 25, of Lewistown, was pulled over for his vehicle having a suspended registration plate.
It was discovered that Plummer was under the influence of alcohol and marijuana, and had drug paraphernalia in his possession.
Plummer will be charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, and charges for DUI will be filed based on blood test results.
Crash – 8:37 a.m. – Jan. 12 – Pennsylvania State Police report investigating a crash in Fermanagh Township.
According to police, Anthony Mattare, 38, of Pasadena, Md., was traveling on state Route 22 when he lost control of his Honda Ridgeline on the wet road. He traveled off the road and into the embankment.
Mattare was not injured.
He was given a traffic citation.
Crash – 8:54 a.m. – Jan. 12 – Pennsylvania State Police report investigating a crash in Fayette Township.
Police say a 16-year-old female driver was traveling on state Route 35, when the Ford F-150 she was driving slid off the road and hit a utility pole.
A 15-year-old male passenger was transported to Envision Eye Center via Fayette EMS for a minor injury.
Geedey’s Towing was present to tow the truck.
The 16-year-old driver will be charged for a traffic violation.

Crash – 6:42 a.m. – Jan. 6 – Pennsylvania State Police report investigating a crash in Walker Township.
Police say Ronald L. Summers Jr., 50, of Mifflin, lost control of his vehicle as he traveled south on William Penn Highway. He then hit a telephone pole.
Summers received a traffic violation.
Simple Assault – 11:30 p.m. – Dec. 12 – Pennsylvania State Police report investigating a simple assault in Wayne Township.
According to police, William Douglas Crawley, 46, of Harrisburg, assaulted Cedric Copeland, 48, of Mt. Union, in the County Line Bar parking lot.
Copeland suffered several small broken bones near his right eye and nose.
Charges have been filed through the district judge’s office.
Harassment – 3:30 p.m. – Jan. 7 – Pennsylvania State Police report investigating an incident of harassment in Milford Township.
According to police, Steven Strawser, of Lewistown, sent unwanted messages to Shelby McNaughton, of Port Royal, even after being asked multiple times to stop.
Strawser was cited for harassment.
PFA Violation – 10:27 a.m. – Jan. 7 – Pennsylvania State Police report investigating a PFA violation.
According to police, Wilbert McCartney III, 28, of Mount Union, was seen riding in the front passenger seat of a vehicle operated by Holly Eyerly, 22, of Mount Union.
Eyerly had an active protection from abuse order against McCartney III.
McCartney III was taken into custody and placed in Mifflin County Correction Facility on $5,000 bail.

Crash – 1:44 a.m. – Jan. 6 -Pennsylvania State Police report investigating a crash in Fayette Township.
According to police, Joseph A. Dressler-Gray, 24, of Thompsontown, drove his Ford Mustang off the roadway. He maneuvered his vehicle back onto the road, but then struck a utility pole and a road sign.
Dressler-Gray will be cited for traffic violations.
Theft – Dec. 22 – Pennsylvania State Police report investigating a theft in Tuscarora Township.
According to police, Shawn Wise, 35, McAlisterville, stole a Sony Explode Amplifier and a pair of speakers from Jesse Strawser, Tuscarora.
Charges are being filed through the district judge’s office.
Theft – 1:01 a.m. – 9:54 a.m. – Sept. 9 – Dec. 29 – Pennsylvania State Police report investigating a theft of services.
According to police, Thomas Gaff, 44, of McVeytown, turned his water back on to his residence after the water was shut off for non-payment of his bill.
Charges will be filed for theft of services.

Crash – 12:41 p.m. – Dec. 27 – Pennsylvania State Police report investigating a crash that occurred on state Route 322 East.
Police say Gregory B. Neal, 26, of Port Matilda, was traveling east with passengers Sandra P. Neal, 48, and Timothy E. Neal, 16, both of Port Matilda, when he hit a deer.
The 2004 Ford Escape had disabling damage.
There were no injuries as a result of the crash.

Crash – 12:45 p.m. – Dec. 29 – Pennsylvania State Police report investigating a crash involving two vehicles.
Police say Kimberley A. Duff, 33, of McClure, attempted to drive around the left side of Ralph L. Showers Jr., 48, of McClure, while he was making a left hand turn.
Duff hit the left side of Showers’ Chevrolet, and then traveled off of the left side of the road, impacting a tree in her Toyota Camry. Showers vehicle went off of the left side of the road, also hitting trees.
Both Duff and Showers were transported to Lewistown Hospital for injuries.
Disorderly Conduct – 8:26 a.m. – Dec. 31 – Pennsylvania State Police report investigating disorderly conduct in Fermanagh Township.
Police say Timothy T. Meyers, 52, of Reedsville, refused to pull his vehicle entirely off of U.S. highway 322, which created a hazardous condition for passing traffic.
Meyers was cited for disorderly conduct and other traffic violations.
Pennsylvania State Police Huntingdon
Criminal mischief – 1:20 p.m.-8:30 p.m. – Dec. 29 – Unknown actor(s) damaged a parked car in Jackson Township, Huntingdon County, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Huntingdon.
Unknown actor(s) threw a dumbbell on a vehicle owned by Holly Vansciver, 45, of Belleville, causing damage, while it was parked at the residence of a family member.

DUI – 2:13 a.m. – Dec. 20 – Brandon Michael Carbaugh, 40, of McVeytown, will be charged with driving under the influence, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Huntingdon.
Charges will be filed through Magisterial District Judge Mary G. Jamison’s office.
Burglary – Noon-7 p.m. – Jan. 1 – Cody Scott Winter, 20, of Mount Union stole items from a 46-year-old male of Shirleysburg, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Huntingdon.
Winter stole a Playstation 3 and four Playstation games.
Charges were filed through Magisterial District Judge Mary G. Jamison’s office.
Natural death – 12:53 a.m. – Jan. 2 – Steve Abrashoff, 73, of Mount Union, was found deceased in his residence of apparent natural causes.

Armagh Township Police Department
Crash – 2:19 a.m. – Jan. 4 – A single vehicle crash occurred on Electric Avenue in Lewistown, according to a report from the Armagh Township Police Department.
A vehicle, driven by Vincent Brown, of Lower Creek Road, Milroy, was driven into the end of the bridge at the intersection of Cabinet Drive and Electric Avenue.
The vehicle was severely damaged and had to be towed.
Brown was not injured in the crash.
Charges for the crash are pending completion of blood test results.

Hit and run- 10 a.m. – Jan. 2 – A hit and run crash occurred in the parking lot of First National Bank, Walker Township, Juniata County, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.
An unknown vehicle hit the rear bumper of a parked 2010 Dodge Avenger and left the scene.
Crash – 4:41 p.m. – Jan. 1 – A one-vehicle crash occurred on state Route 333 in Delaware Township, Juniata County, according to a report from Pennsylvania State police Lewistown.
James R. Page, 20, of Thompsontown, was driving west on state Route 333 in a 2006 Impala at a high rate of speed. Page lost control of the vehicle and traveled into the eastbound lane. Page then over-corrected his steering to the right, causing the vehicle to leave the right side of the road. The vehicle traveled down over an embankment, hitting a groundhog hole with the driver’s side rear tire. This caused the vehicle to spin counter-clockwise and roll over. The vehicle came to rest on its roof in a cornfield, facing south.
Page was wearing a seat belt and suffered minor injuries in the crash.
Page was charged for the crash.
Disorderly conduct – 6:59 p.m. – Dec. 30 – Police responded to Nittany Mini Mart in Wayne Township for a reported disturbance, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.
As a result of the investigation, Chelsea Lee Mease and Allen Albert Seiberling were charged with disorderly conduct.
Resisting arrest – Jan. 1 – Police arrived at IAO on Walnut Street in Burnham and found Tyler Guisewite, 23, of Burnham, and John Campbell, 23, of McClure, under the influence of alcohol, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.
Guisewite resisted arrest for public drunkenness.
Charges were filed on Guisewite and Campbell through Magisterial District Judge Aaron L. Gingrich’s office.

Resisting Arrest – Jan. 1 – Pennsylvania State Police report investigating a scene on South Walnut Street in Burnham.
According to police, Tyler Guisewite, 23, of Burnham, and John Campbell, 23, of McClure, were both under the influence of alcohol.
Guisewite resisted arrest for public drunkenness.
Charges were filed for both Guisewite and Campbell.
Theft – 6:30 p.m. – Dec. 28 -Pennsylvania State Police report investigating a theft at a Sheetz on Route 35 North in Fermanagh Township.
According to police, Alvaro Luis Castro-Arias, 25, had a cell phone stolen that he left in Sheetz.
The investigation is ongoing.

Criminal Mischief – 2:30 a.m. Dec. 31- Pennsylvania State Police report investigating criminal mischief on state Route 103 South in Bratton Township.
According to police, an unknown person smashed the back window of a vehicle belonging to Gary Lee Harshbarger, 67, of McVeytown.
The investigation is ongoing.

Theft – 11:00 p.m. – Dec. 30 – Pennsylvania State Police report investigation a theft from a vehicle located on Ferguson Valley Road, Wayne Township.
David Michael Rourke, 57, of McVeytown, said 70 oxycodone pills were taken from his vehicle.
The investigation is ongoing.

Theft – 12:01 a.m. – Dec. 20 – Pennsylvania State Police report investigating a theft by deception on Lees Lane in Spruce Hill Township.
According to police, Carson Hunter Goshorn, 23, of Port Royal, sold a laptop over the Internet to an unknown person in Nigeria.
Goshorn received payment in the form of a check from a non-existing account.
The investigation is ongoing.

Burglary/theft – 12:01 a.m., Jan. 1, 2014 – 2 p.m., Dec. 30 – Police said someone took five black powder rifles from the home of Banks Zimmerman Sr. and Banks Zimmerman Jr. on Jericho Road in Fermanagh Township. The investigation continues.
Hit and run – 5:16 p.m. – Dec. 22 – No injuries were reported when a 1998 Chevrolet Venture driven by Leobardo Galvan-Patino, 33, of Mifflin, sideswiped a 2004 Buick Ranier driven by Stanley B. Ehrisman Jr., 38, of Mifflintown, at the intersection of Cedar Spring Road and Henry Crossroad Road in Fermanagh Township. Galvan-Patino was charged in the incident after initially fleeing the scene. Ehrisman, Galvan-Patino and Galvan-Patino’s passengers – 31-year-old Rosario Lopez, a 9-year-old boy and a 6-year-old girl, all of Mifflin – were wearing seatbelts, according to the report.
Criminal trespass – 2:34 p.m. – Oct. 29 – Police said Daniel Powell, 40, of Milroy, would not leave the residence of Brandy Lovett, 37, located at 4 Shafranich Lane in Armagh Township, after being told to do so several times. Charges were filed against Powell and he was placed in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility.
Underage alcohol consumption – 9:38 p.m. – Dec. 29 – A 17-year-old female from McClure was issued a nontraffic citation through district court after police conducted a traffic stop on North Logan Boulevard in Burnham for an equipment violation and found that she had consumed alcohol.
Harassment – 4:32 p.m. – Dec. 29 – David Shugarts, 55, of 40 Lower Bratton Road, Kistler, flagged down troopers near his residence and told them he was filming Jonathon Spriggs, 33, because Shugarts thought Spriggs was going to commit a crime against him. Spriggs, who was working in his own yard, had already called police to complain that Shugarts was annoying him with the filming. Shugarts was cited through district court.
