HARRISBURG — A Bloomsburg man has been sentenced to 13 to 26 years in state prison for opening fire outside a Mount Carmel bar in 2022 after a neighbor complained about loud music coming from his vehicle. Branch Road to close in Centre Co. Monday

STATE COLLEGE — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that its Centre County Maintenance Organization will close Route 3009 (Branch Road) in College Township for approximately three days to complete a pipe replacement. Replacing the pipe will prevent uncontrolled water flow from damaging the pavement and extend the service life of the road.
