Shifting the blame to your sons

Dear Annie: I often see letters in your column from mothers-in-law with various complaints about their daughters-in-law. The themes are familiar: “She never invites me to activities.” “She doesn’t take pictures of me with the baby.” “She won’t let me see my grandchild.” What I find myself wondering is: Why is all of the frustration directed toward the daughters-in-law? Overnight, the pain becomes intense and radiates all the way up to my shoulder. Tylenol and an arthritis sleeve only provide minimum relief. Should I request to see a neurologist, or is there another type of doctor to seek out for a diagnosis? This has become ...

Wide coverage and details will usually help the lost dog get back to its owner. However, posting too much information about a found dog may cause the dog to be claimed by someone other than the owner. It’s better to let the real owner give the finder details about the dog. ...
