Lazzerini earns second team honors

UNIVERSITY PARK -- Penn State swimming senior Mariano Lazzerini has earned Second-Team All-American honors from the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America following his stellar performance at the NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championships on March 25-28. Lazzerini takes home the award for his 12th place finish in the 100 breast at the NCAA Championships with a 51.41 time. DiMarsico inks deal with Avalanche

UNIVERSITY PARK – Junior forward Matt DiMarsico (Wexford, Pa.) became the 14th Nittany Lion in program history to put pen to paper on an NHL contract as he signed a two-year, entry-level deal with the Colorado Avalanche the club announced on Monday afternoon. DiMarsico will report to American Hockey League affiliate, the Colorado Eagles, on an AHL contract for the remainder of the 2025-26 campaign with his ELC set to begin with the 2026-27 season.
