Mazzante joins Lady Lion hoops

UNIVERSITY PARK -- Penn State women’s basketball head coach Tanisha Wright has announced the addition of Lady Lion legend Kelly Mazzante as an assistant coach on her staff. Mazzante and Wright played together for three seasons (2001-04) for the Lady Lions. PSU-UCF game axed due to weather

UNIVERSITY PARK – Penn State baseball’s game, and scheduled Dollar Dog Night, against UCF on Wednesday has been canceled due to anticipated storms. Penn State travels to Lincoln this weekend, April 3-5, for a three-game Big Ten series. The series begins on Friday at 7 p.m. ET at Hawks Field at Haymarket Park. It continues on Saturday at 3 p.m. ET and concludes on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.

UNIVERSITY PARK – The Penn State baseball team welcomes No. 23 UCF for Dollar Dog Night on Wednesday, April 1 at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park. First pitch is set for 5:30 p.m. with a stream on B1G+. It is also Little Sluggers Day, encouraging youth baseball players to attend. All games at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park this season are free admission for all ages. UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.- Thomas Wright has been hired as an assistant coach for the Penn State men’s tennis team under head coach Bruce Lipka. Wright comes to Penn State after most recently working as the Head Professional of Competitive Development at the Orinda Country Club in California. PITTSBURGH – The Penn State softball team dropped an 8-7 decision to the Pittsburgh Panthers on Tuesday night in non-conference action from Vartabedian Field.
