Penn State-WVU baseball game axed due to weather

UNIVERSITY PARK — Penn State baseball’s game at West Virginia on Tuesday has been canceled due to anticipated cold temperatures.

The Nittany Lions are still scheduled to play the Mountaineers twice this season. Penn State and West Virginia will meet on Wednesday, April 15 at Meritus Park in Hagerstown, Md. The teams will meet again on Wednesday, April 29 at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park.

Penn State travels to Purdue next weekend, March 20-22 for a three-game Big Ten series. Friday’s game will be broadcast on Big Ten Network at 4 p.m. while Saturday (2 p.m.) and Sunday (1 p.m.) will be on B1G+.
