Lions men’s golf season opens Sept. 14-16
UNIVERSITY PARK – The Penn State men’s golf team has announced its 2025 fall schedule which features five tournaments beginning in mid-September.
The Nittany Lions open the 2025-26 slate by co-hosting the second-annual Canadian Intercollegiate at the Oviinbyrd Golf Club in MacTier, Ontario, Canada on Sept. 14-16. The tournament will be conducted by Golf Canada and co-hosted by Penn State and Kent State who are both led by Canadian head coaches in Penn State’s Mark Leon and Kent State’s Jon Mills. The event began last fall, which was the first time that an NCAA Division I men’s golf tournament was played in Canada.
Penn State returns to action two weeks later at the Nemacolin Collegiate Invitational hosted by West Virginia from Sept. 29-30. Located in Farmington, Pa., Nemacolin Resort features two Pete Dye-designed courses.
Penn State will then head to the Cullan Brown Intercollegiate on Oct. 6-7. The event, hosted by Kentucky, will be played at the Lexington Country Club.
The Moraine Intercollegiate, hosted by Miami (Ohio) follows on Oct. 13-14 when Penn State travels to the Moraine Country Club in Kettering, Ohio.
The fall season will conclude at the Quail Valley Intercollegiate on Oct. 19-20 when the Nittany Lions travel to the Quail Valley Golf Club. The event is co-hosted by USF and Michigan State.
