Duzansky makes Mannelly watch list
UNIVERSITY PARK – Penn State senior quarterback Drew Allar and senior running back Nicholas Singleton were tabbed to the Walter Camp Player of the Year Award watch list on Monday, while redshirt senior Tyler Duzansky was named to the Mannelly Award watch list.
The Walter Camp Player of the Year is the fourth-oldest award in college football and is presented by David McDermott Lexus of New Haven.
The Patrick Mannelly Award, created in 2019, benefits Bernie’s Book Bank, a non-profit organization located in Lake Bluff. The award is named after Patrick Mannelly, a long snapper at Duke, who played 16 years in the NFL (1998-2013) with the Chicago Bears.

Sits fourth all-time at PSU in touchdowns responsible for (64), fifth in total offense (6,862), eighth in wins by a starting quarterback (23) and 10th in starting quarterback win percentage (.793).
Since 1956, joins Bryce Petty (Baylor, 2011-14) as the only FBS quarterbacks with 800+ career pass attempts, 50+ touchdown passes and 10 or less interceptions.
In 2024, completed 262-of-394 passes for 3,327 yards and 24 touchdowns, while rushing for 302 yards and six touchdowns.

The Walter Camp Award Player of the Year watch list will be narrowed to 10 semifinalists in early November and the three finalists will be announced in early December. The winner will be announced live during The Home Depot College Football Awards on ESPN on December 12, 2025.
Ten semifinalists for the Mannelly Award will be announced on November 17. Those names will be narrowed to three finalists announced on December 1 and the winner selected at the live Mannelly Award ceremony in Lake Bluff on December 13.
