PSU’s Caron nets first-team All-American honor

UNIVERSITY PARK – Penn State women’s track and field senior Florence Caron has been selected as a first-team Academic All-American, as announced by College Sports Communicators (CSC).

Caron is one of just 15 Division I women’s track and field/cross country student-athletes nationwide to earn first-team Academic All-America honors. She is now a two-time Academic All-American after earning second-team plaudits as a junior.

Caron became Penn State’s first country All-American since 2016 at the 2024 NCAA Cross Country National Championships.
