By RAY WILDE Sports correspondent MILROY—Belleville’s Mason Joyce and Reagan Varner combined for a five-hit shutout Wednesday as Belleville beat Reedsville, 4-0, in the Mifflin County Babe Ruth League. Joyce went the first six innings as he gave up just four hits. Varner worked the seventh and picked up the save. Joyce struck out four, walked three and gave up four hits. Traynor, alums get invite to USA training camp

SPARKS, Md. – Three Penn State men’s lacrosse alumni have been invited by USA Lacrosse to a training camp for the field team in the U.S. Men’s National Team Program. The group, comprised of TJ Malone ’24, Mac O’Keefe ’21, and Matt Traynor ’25, joins 37 other invitees for the camp, which is scheduled to take place in Charlotte, North Carolina, from June 7-9, following the Premier Lacrosse League’s (PLL) weekend of games in the same city.
