Martin named to Player of the Year Watch List

UNIVERSITY PARK – Penn State’s Kennedy Martin was named to the AVCA Women’s Volleyball National Player of the Year Watch List on Wednesday. The senior was one of 30 players to make the list, including 10 from the Big Ten. Martin made an appearance on the Player of the Year Watch List for a third-consecutive season. She went on to be one of 14 semifinalists in each of the past two seasons. Martin enters her fourth collegiate season with 1,638 kills, including 634 with the Nittany Lions last year. MINNETONKA, Minn. – Rising sophomores Mikah Keller and Sophie Morrow of the Penn State women's hockey team have been invited to the 2026 USA Hockey Women's National Festival, USA Hockey announced Monday afternoon. Keller and Morrow are among 46 collegiate players selected to attend the festival, which will be held Aug. 2-9 at Herb Brooks Arena in Lake Placid, N.Y.
