MCVEYTOWN — McVeytown’s Crosby Sunderland pitched his team to a 14-0 win over Strodes Mills on Friday. The game was called after five innings due to the 10-run rule. The win propelled McVeytown into fifth place in the Mifflin County Babe Ruth League with a 9-10 record. Burnham finished the year with a 9-11 record and had to forfeit its last four games to Beaver Springs, Reedsville, Belltown and Belleville. WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Thursday night’s scheduled game between the State College Spikes and Williamsport Crosscutters at Journey Bank Ballpark was canceled due to inclement weather in the Williamsport area. The game will not be made up.
