HARRISBURG -- The Pennsylvania Board of Game Commissioners will meet on Friday, Sept. 25, 2026, at the Game Commission’s Harrisburg headquarters, 2001 Elmerton Ave. This meeting is one day only and will begin at 8:30 a.m. with public comments. Those wishing to speak may register beginning at 7:45 a.m. on the day of the meeting. Speakers will be called in the order in which they registered. Burgdorf named Freshman of the Week

UNIVERSITY PARK – Haley Burgdorf was named the Big Ten Women’s Volleyball Freshman of the Week on Monday, earning the award after helping Penn State go 3-0 with sweeps over DePaul, No. 4 Stanford, and Ohio last week. Burgdorf was solid all three matches but had her breakout performance in the three-set win over Stanford on Friday night at The Palestra. She hit .450 with 10 kills, nine digs, and two aces, all of which were career highs. She scored the final two points of the sweep with a kill and an ace.
