CURVE, Pa. – Connor Oliver, Landon Tomkins, and Mike Walsh spun Altoona’s seventh shutout win of the season on Tuesday night at Peoples Natural Gas Field. Altoona took down the Akron RubberDucks, 3-0. HARRISBURG – Infielder Javier Rivas became the fifth Curve hitter to reach ten homers this season in an 8-4 win over the Harrisburg Senators on Sunday afternoon at FNB Field. Altoona scored two early runs on bases loaded walks in the second and built up a 5-2 advantage after five innings.
