SeaWolves storm past Curve, 10-7

ERIE, Pa. – The Erie SeaWolves scored ten unanswered runs and earned a 10-7 win over the Curve on Wednesday afternoon at UPMC Park. The Curve batted around and scored seven times in the fourth inning to take a commanding 7-0 lead after four innings. Murf Gray started the big inning with a two-run homer, his fourth with the Curve in 15 games. Lions open 140th season versus Marshall

UNIVERSITY PARK – Penn State Football has announced that its 2026 season and home opener against Marshall, on Sept. 5, will be designated as the Stripe Out game. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. on FS1. In one month, Penn State will open its 140th football season and 67th season in West Shore Home Field at Beaver Stadium. Tickets can be purchased here. UNIVERSITY PARK – Five Penn State football greats were honored by Sporting News this week, being named to its 2026 College Football All-Decade All-America teams.
