Mifflin County pulled out two games in the late innings to win the Mid-Atlantic Regionals. On Friday, they won another game for the ages as Mifflin County won the opening game of the 15-16-year-old Babe Ruth World Series beating Southern Florida, 9-8, in 12 innings. Curve blast three homers in win over Erie

ERIE, Pa. – Altoona swatted three home runs on their way to a 10-6 win over the Erie SeaWolves on Thursday night at Erie’s UPMC Park. Matt Ager turned in a brilliant start for the Curve, needing just 56 pitches to work through five scoreless innings. Ager earned the win with his fourth outing lasting at least six innings in his last six starts. Ager got all the run support he needed with a four-run fifth inning. ERIE, Pa. – The Erie SeaWolves scored ten unanswered runs and earned a 10-7 win over the Curve on Wednesday afternoon at UPMC Park. The Curve batted around and scored seven times in the fourth inning to take a commanding 7-0 lead after four innings. Lions open 140th season versus Marshall

UNIVERSITY PARK – Penn State Football has announced that its 2026 season and home opener against Marshall, on Sept. 5, will be designated as the Stripe Out game. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. on FS1. In one month, Penn State will open its 140th football season and 67th season in West Shore Home Field at Beaver Stadium. Tickets can be purchased here.
