Smith claims 4th place

BOSTON, Ma. — Mifflin County’s Carter Smith placed fourth for the Juniata Striders during the mile at the New Balance Indoor Nationals on Sunday.
Smith posted a time of 4:04.05 as Indiana’s Noah Bontrager set a new meet record of 3:59.48 to earn gold.
Smith captured a gold in the DMR and earned a silver in the 800.
