Indians, Tigers named TVL All-Stars

Area athletes earned high honors as Juniata and East Juniata competitors were recognized by the TVL as all-stars for this past winter sports season. Let’s see who was chosen.

In boys basketball, Juniata’s Jasper Shepps reached the first team of the TVL and also received MVP honors. Shepps, a senior, earned unanimous first-team honors.

East Juniata senior Wrett Smith also made first team.

Over in girls basketball, Juniata senior center Mylee Landis made the first team and East Juniata’s Landyn Cramer earned a spot on the second team.

Honorable mentions included Juniata sophomores Aubryn Deihl and Lindsea Gilson.

St. Joe’s senior Naomi Crispin was named MVP.

Juniata seniors Kelton Bonnell and Ryder Smith made the wrestling first team. Line Mountain’s Brock Rothermel, a junior, earned MVP honors.

In girls wrestling, Juniata juniors Madison Bryner and Jordana Steffen earned spots on the first team. Bryner was a unanimous selection.

Juniata’s Brea Beward and Rylee Delancey made first team as freshmen.

Bryner and Susquenita sophomore Kaylee Dayhoff were listed as co-MVPs for the season.
