Class 4A All-State football roster announced

The 2025 Coaches Select All-State Teams were announced this week and Juniata’s Jasper Shepps made it as a safety on the First Team Defense for Class 4A.

Shepps chalked up 89 total tackles for the Indians and recorded four double-digit tackle games in his senior year. Shepps posted 13 tackles against Halifax in an October game. He also had six picks and three forced fumbles (stats according to MaxPreps).

Southern Lehigh’s Sean Steckert was named Player of the Year and his coach, Phil Sams, earned Coach of the Year.

Also on the First Team Defense was Aliquippa safety QaLil Goode, cornerbacks Carson Watkins (Jersey Shore) and Cole Findlay (Oil City).

Jersey Shore’s Bo Sechrist and Twin Valley’s Ryan Rementer made first team as inside linebackers.

At outside backer, Twin Valley’s Lucas Myers and North Pocono’s Evan Wolff made the first team.

Shamokin’s Izak Glover made first team nose guard. Twin Valley’s Greyson Miller and Susquehanna Township’s Yendor Mack made first team as d-tackles.

At defensive end was Susquehannock’s Donavin Jordan-Brown and Jersey Shore’s Luke Thompson.

First team punter was Luke Ryan of Jersey Shore and North Pocono’s Cole West earned defensive athlete honors.

On first team offense, Southern Lehigh’s Colton Sams and Susquehanna’s Torin Evans made it as quarterbacks.

At running back, Southern Lehigh’s Sean Steckert and McKeesport’s Kemon Spell made first team.

Wyomissing full back Chase Eisenhower also earned first team honors. His teammate, Justice Hardy, also made it as a slot receiver/halfback.

Mars receiver Gabe Hein made first team along with Middletown’s Nickayus Zenon and Bishop Shanahan’s Aidan Civitella.

Tight end Beau Thomas made first team for Punxsutawney. Offensive guards include Wyomissing’s Andrew Bresnahan and Shamokin’s Chase Anderson.

Southern Lehigh’s Carter Giberson and Cardinal O’Hara’s Devonte Ferrigon were first team offensive tackles. West York’s Slade Moore was first team center.

Wyomissing’s Zander Westwood was first team long snapper.

Punxsutawney kicker Owen Roken made first team along with kick/punt returner Tahir Edmondson of Allentown Central Catholic.

Offensive athletes were Shamokin’s Logan Steele and Albert Gallatin’s Adam Pegg.
