Mustangs best Indians, 56-45
MIFFLINTOWN — West Perry beat Juniata in boys basketball action on Tuesday, 56-45.
West (3-4, 2-2 TVL) hit three shots from downtown and went 11-for-13 at the foul line.
Juniata got 14 points from Ricky Guante and a dozen from Jasper Shepps. Damien Vance added 10.
Juniata(3-4) drilled seven three-pointers and went 8-for-16 at the foul line. Guante made four threes and Vance made three.
Juniata hosts Lancaster Country Day on Monday.

BOYS BASKETBALL
St. Joe’s sinks EJ, 73-64
BOALSBURG — St. Joe’s boys basketball topped East Juniata on Monday, 73-64.
For the Tigers, Wrett Smith had a team-best 23 points in the road loss and Sam Kopacki added 21 points.
Meyer Ramsey posted seven points and Silas Strickhouser collected four for EJ.
Smith had two three-pointers for the Tigers. Josh Dubiel, Ramsey and Kopacki each had one trey.
The WolfPack outscored EJ, 37-28, in the opening half.
East Juniata is now 2-6 (1-3 TVL) on the season and St. Joe’s is 4-4.
EJ hosts Belleville Christian (3-3) at 7 p.m. next Tuesday.
