Altoona outshot MC (7-10-1), 15-2.
However, the Huskies posted more corners, 5-4.
The Huskies also corralled more saves, 11-1.
Mifflin County's assistant coach Todd Peters said, "We didn't win balls like we have in the past and couldn't control the middle of the field and it cost us. They won the ball off our own feet all night. Altoona played well all night... After the half they continued to control, which was beyond frustrating and got two goals in five minutes."
"We had a flicker of aggression when we ran through some and then Zach Keller was in on goal and finished with 23 minutes left. But, we didn't have enough of our team rallying to get stuck in and win first, second and sometimes third balls and they scored another with under three minutes to ice it. Our squad will have time to think about this, remember the feeling and we hope to work to use it and flip it for our next matchup which will be districts."
JV Huskies lost, 1-0, to Altoona.
