CARLISLE — Mifflin County golf opened its season Thursday at the Carlisle Barracks golf course, the home of Mechanicsburg. MC went 0-for-6 on the day.

On a positive note, Jude Zook fired a career-low round of 84 to lead the Huskies, which was good for 18th place overall. Evan Breon contributed with an 89, which placed 28th.

Chase Krepps fired a 92 in his freshman debut to place 31st, and Caleb Bubb rounded out the scoring with a 98, which placed 33rd overall. MC is 0-6 on the season and 0-6 in the Mid-Penn Keystone Division.

MC boys are back in action on Wednesday at Lewistown Country Club against Altoona. Mifflin County girls will be in action to kick off their season on Monday at State College.
