PORT ROYAL — Port Royal Speedway is proud to honor the brave men and women who serve our communities at Saturday’s First Responders Night.

The evening features a thrilling three-division racing card all while recognizing and giving back to those who put their lives on the line for the safety of others.

To show appreciation for local heroes, the first 100 first responders will receive free general admission with proper ID. In addition, $5 from every first responder ticket sold will be donated directly to the Trooper Jacques “Jay” F. Rougeau Scholarship Fund, supporting the legacy of the fallen Pennsylvania State Trooper.

After the first 100 arrive, all other first responders will only have to pay a $10 general admission entrance fee to the track.

Saturday’s racing lineup will feature the Weikert’s Livestock 410 sprint cars, the Penns Valley Meat Market 305 sprint cars, and the return of the 358 winged sprint cars.

The pits open at 4 p.m., followed by the gates at 5 p.m., hot laps at 6 p.m. and the racing action at 7 p.m.
