THREE SPRINGS – Mount Union scored ten total falls in its Inter-County Conference wrestling victory over Southern Huntingdon, winning 64-6 on Tuesday.

Jase Ripple, Ayden Grove, Will Harkleroad, Josh Ryan, Haiden Inch, Mason Beatty, AJ Chilcote, Hunter Steel, Caden Chilcote, Deegan Rittenhouse all scored a fall in their respective weight class matches. Rittenhouse scored the fastest fall in his 145 pound bout against Aiden Hollibaugh in just 29 seconds.

Mount Union hosts Huntingdon on Thursday.

Northumberland Christian 62, Juniata Christian 52

PORT ROYAL — Despite a monstrous performance by Owen Yorks, Juniata Christian fell to Northumberland Christian 62-52 in Allegheny Christian Athletic Association boys basketball game Tuesday.

The Lions held a 28-24 lead going into the second half when Northumberland Christian went off offensively as the Warriors outscored Juniata Christian 38-24 for the second half.

Yorks scored a game high of 27 points for the evening.

Juniata Christian hosts Grace Prep on Friday.

MIDDLEBURG – Midd-West fell behind early and just could not recover as the Mustangs were defeated by Selinsgrove in a PHAC girls basketball game Tuesday by the final score of 45-15.

Sage Phillips and Emily Kline led the Mustangs with five points each.

Midd-West travels Jersey Shore Friday.

Boys: Cumberland Valley 118, Mifflin County 31

Girls: Cumberland Valley 124, Mifflin County 24

BURNHAM – Mifflin County lost to Cumberland Valley in both boys and girls Mid-Penn Conference swim meet Tuesday.

The Huskies lost 118-31 on the boys side with Caden Kauffman finishing in first place during the 100 yard breastsroke with a time of 1:10.31

For the girls Mifflin County were defeated 124-24 with the team of Kirsten Milliron, Isabella Ziegler, Carson Kushner and Kylie Strawser placed first in the 200 yard Medley Relay at 2:35.90.

Mifflin County travels to face Carlisle Thursday.
