Come make a difference aboard the library’s board of trustees

Do you believe in the power of libraries and want them to continue to make a difference? Join our board of trustees. Our nine-person board of trustees serve a three-year term (with the option for a second term) and are tasked with strategically placing the library in the community. Board meetings are in person on the first Monday of the month at 7 p.m. You can also attend via Zoom. Beef roast and vegetables are perfect in Bev’s Kitchen

Hello from the kitchen! Spring has sprung and the grass is growing. I’d rather be in the kitchen than outside mowing. A poet I’m not. Recently, in the kitchen I decided to see how few dirty dishes I could make and still produce a good meal. I made this beef and vegetable dish using one roaster and my trusty knife. It was delicious and hearty. Growing up in the 60’s and 70’s, washing dishes was one of my chores. I didn’t like it then and still don’t, but I do it. The NCAA basketball tournaments, both men’s and women’s, have had their share of thrilling moments and last-second finishes.
