Darrin ‘Deke’ Keith Yoder II

Darrin “Deke” Keith Yoder II, 19, died May 2, 2026, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash, in Helena, MT. He was surrounded by family and loved ones.

Deke was born Nov. 27, 2006, to Darrin K. Yoder and Ami Elizabeth Butts (deceased) and raised in Collierville, TN. After graduating from Collierville High School in May of 2025, he moved to Helena to live with his sister Delyssia and his niece Ayla to begin the next chapter of his life. He pursued his passion for working with vehicles and proudly began his career as an automotive technician at Ford of Helena. Known for his strong work ethic, mechanical skill, and determination, he quickly earned the respect of those around him.

He will be remembered for his kind heart, adventurous spirit, and the deep love he had for his family. Whether spending time with loved ones, working on vehicles, or embracing new opportunities, he lived with purpose and enthusiasm beyond his years.

Deke is survived by his loving father, Darrin Yoder (Annie) of, Chico, CA.; his sister, Delyssia Tromblee, of Helena, MT.; his brother, Chase Yoder of, Oakland, CA.; his cherished niece, Ayla; his loving girlfriend, Ellie Marie Williams; his grandparents, Carol Deboe and Lewis Stimson, Ray and Nancy Yoder, Stella Reiter, John and Brucia Mory and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ami Elizabeth Yoder, his aunt, Missie Housewright, his cousin, Hannah Renee Lester and his grandfather, Brad Reiter.

In his passing, he continued to give selflessly as an organ donor, offering the gift of life to others in need. This reflects Deke’s generous and compassionate nature.

We are deeply grateful to the doctors, nurses, care team and first responders who looked after Deke with such compassion and respect. We also want to thank our community for the outpouring of support and care. Your kindness has brought comfort to our family and will not be forgotten.

A celebration of life to honor Deke will be held Saturday, May 9 at the York Community Center, York, Montana, at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages others to consider registering as organ donors in his memory or donating to Life Center Northwest.
