Justin J. Schmidt

He was born on April 30, 1975, in Lewistown, to John Schmidt of Lewistown and the late Kathy L. (Henry) Schmidt, who preceded him in death on Feb. 25, 2023.

Surviving are children: Jordan T. Schmidt and wife, Paige, Kelsey B. Schmidt, Caleb J. Schmidt, all of Lewistown; a sister: Jessica Pietzsch and husband, Matt, of Belleville; a nephew and niece: Dekker and Macy Pietzsch.

Justin was a 1993 graduate of Lewistown High School and attended Penn State for two years. He was employed by CATA as a dispatcher for 18 years, and currently was working at Phillips Ultrasound in Reedsville for the past eight years.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, and hosting for his family, as well as gardening and landscaping. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and entertaining them with fireworks. Justin was an animal lover.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 6 p.m. at Henderson-Bohn Funeral Home, 6880 State Route 655, Reedsville with Pastor David Aungst officiating. Family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. prior to the memorial service.
