G. Scott Trutt
G. Scott Trutt, 70, of Lewistown, passed away on March 25, 2026, at William Penn Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
Born Oct. 24, 1955, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Pharis N. Trutt Sr. and Beatrice G. (Niman) Trutt.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce L. Harris; and brother-in-law, Samuel Ematat.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy (Hoar) Trutt; children, Stephanie Foltz and companion, Bradley Parson, Rodney Diehl and wife, Danielle, both of Lewistown; grandchildren, Wyatt Foltz, Mattie Foltz, Cara Diehl, Maverick Diehl, Madison Hughey; siblings, Bonnie McConnell, of Md., Nancy L. Ematat, of Lewistown, Pharis N. Trutt Jr. and wife, Kim, of Lewistown, Laurie E. Treaster and husband, Douglas, of Belleville; many loving nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
He dedicated many years to a successful career in automotive sales. He was a respected car salesman for Bob Ruth Ford in Dillsburg, AutoZone, and various other dealerships throughout the Harrisburg area.
Above all, Scott’s greatest joy was his family. He held an unwavering love for his wife, children, and grandchildren. He enjoyed going fishing, and golfing. A passionate sports enthusiast, he was a loyal fan of Yankee Baseball, Dallas Cowboy Football, and Nascar racing.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
