Barbara A. Reich

Barbara Anne Reich, 77, of McClure, Pa., passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville following a brief illness.

Born in Lewistown, to Charles and Oramae (Rhodes/Wagner) Miller. She was lovingly raised by her foster parents, William and Hulda Wright, of McClure.

She was a graduate of Chief Logan High School.

She shared a special bond with her great-grandson, Aaden, who held a particularly special place in her heart. Barb had many passionsäshe was an avid gardener, a talented seamstress, and a devoted reader. In her younger years, she owned a craft shop and candle business, sharing her creativity with those around her. She was also known for rescuing cats, never one to turn away a stray (or a few… or several). She was especially close with her daughters Jen and Jill, and Jen was often by her side, faithfully tending to her needs. Barb will be remembered for her feistiness, her strong will, and her love for those closest to her, whether they were ready for it or not.

Barb was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Barry Reich, who passed away in 2009. She never truly got over that loss, and after 17 years apart, she is now reunited with the love of her life, no doubt already keeping him in line again. She was also reunited in passing with her brothers, Charles S. Miller and Edward L. Miller. As well as her sister, Constance Earnest.

She is survived by her daughters: Jen Black (Dan), Jill Schreck (Bob Carr), Angie Oravetz, and Michelle Kishbaugh (Nate Floryshak); and her stepson, Shaun Reich (Ellen). She is also survived by her brothers, Kenneth L. Miller, Sr. (Janie), Jack W. Miller and Harold Timothy Miller.

Barb also leaves behind ten grandchildren, two of whom she raised, Daniel and Christopher; 14 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

May she finally be at peace, reunited with Barry, and surrounded by the love she carried with her throughout her life.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, March 30 from 10 to 11 am at the Kreamer Funeral Home, 130 S. Zechman St., Beavertown, followed by the funeral service at 11 with Rev. Kathy Mercado officiating.

Burial will follow in McClure Union Cemetery.
