Sue A. Hower

She was born April 15, 1951, in Lewistown, a daughter of the late William Boonie and Margaret Allenbaugh.

Sue was a 1969 graduate of West Snyder High School.

She was a member of Christ Church in Beaver Springs.

She worked for many years at Kinney Shoes and JPM in Beaver Springs until their closing.

Sue loved jigsaw puzzles and word searches. She was a member of the Beaver Springs Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary and volunteered her time at the Beaver Springs Senior Center. Most importantly she loved spending time with her three grandsons.

Surviving is one son, Jason M. Hower; one daughter, Annette (James) Kerstetter; three grandsons, James W., Landon C., and Gage D. Kerstetter; two sisters, Margaret Baker and Connie Young; and her extended family.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, Feb. 28 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Christ Church, 800 Center Ave., Beaver Springs followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. with Pastor Jim Matthews officiating.

Arrangements are by the Kreamer Funeral Home, 130 S. Zechman St., Beavertown.
